Penn State’s Greening the Lower Susquehanna program, in partnership with Londonderry Township, has asked us to help with planting tree seedlings around the stream that flows through Sunset Park’s picnic area. For those that don’t know, Sunset Park is the location for the future HRFC Perseverance Lodge Fields – our clubs permanent home. This is a great opportunity for our club to give back to the community and show Londonderry Township our love and appreciation for welcoming us into their community.

Good Morning HRFC –
There has been tremendous progress at Perseverance Lodge Field in Londonderry Township. A well had been drilled to accommodate short-term irrigation needs and longer-term clubhouse plumbing. The playing surface has moderate grass growth and is in need of pebble pickers to collect the stones pushed to the surface from the past winter’s freeze/thaw cycles. Come see the progress and lend a hand of thanks to all the work that has been completed thus far.

Why: No one wants to play on rocks, bring a small bucket and screwdriver (or similar tool) for prying stones out of the surface.

We will be hosting a fundraiser for The Harrisburg Rugby Football Association.
This will be an outside tournament.
Bring your own bags ACL or ACO style bags
NO CORN FILLED BAGS PERMITTED

Entry fee
$40 for team of 2
$20 per person.
If you want to play and need a partner let us know we will do what we can to pair you up with someone.
Format for tournament with start off with round robin, this will give each team a minimum of 5 games during the tournament.
There will be cash prizes for the top 3 teams.
As of now 50% of entries go to fundraiser and 50% towards payouts.
There will be Food trucks on hand
50/50 drawing and raffles throughout the day.
Bring a chair and a canopy.

We need some help with participants to help be players for demonstrations with the coaching clinic. It would be great to get 10-15 ppl out. We only need help from 1-4pm.

We are organizing a small work day for Saturday, August 14th at the new fields at Sunset Park to get the holes bored and uprights erected. We need 6 able-bodied individuals to help get the equipment unpacked and in place.
Start 10am and should be finished by 1pm.
