URGENT UPDATE: Men’s Team Kickoff Meeting

HRFC Men- Our season will soon be upon us, we are set with a 7pm kick off meeting this Thursday Feb 9th at the Londonderry Township Building. This location has changed – we will no longer be meeting at Tattered Flag. PLEASE BE SURE TO SHOW UP AT THE LONDONDERRY TOWNSHIP BUILDING!

This meeting is mandatory because we need you to show your commitment for the season. We will be going over a few team goals, some strategies that we wish to implement this season, as well as go over the schedule of matches and team functions. We need you to attend, the meeting will be about an hour, this will be your time to ask question about the upcoming season. As well as ask for permission to be put on a dues payment plan if needed; dues as always are needed by the 1st official match March 4th.

Newbies are welcome, bring friends, or acquaintances that are interested in playing, new members are the life blood of our club.

If you have not already done so please download the team app on your phone, you all revived an e-mail with the direction on how to do this. We will be using this app for all communications to you.

WHERE: Tattered Flag Brewery & Still Works (1 S. Union Street, Middletown, PA 17057)
PRICE: $25 per person (includes food, some beer, and shenanigans)
WHY: IT’S WHAT WE DO! (and we all need an excuse to hang out with our rugby friends!)

The Flag is our new sponsor and the home for socials moving forward. We should show them that we appreciate their generous support by making every effort to attend this function.

For $25 you will get specially brewed Harrisburg Rugby beer, a great meal and a Tattered Flag glass mug to keep and use at the establishment. This event is NOT a ‘pay at the door’ event, we need to have solid numbers to commit to them by 1/30. Tickets are available for purchase ON THE WEBSTORE until Sunday night, January 29th.

We’re Celebrating 30 Years!

This Saturday marks the 30th year for the BEST 7’s tournament on the East Coast! AWESOME!

We would like to invite you to come out to Palmyra on June 25th to watch rugby and hang out with friends all day long! After last year’s day-long deluge, we put in a request with the Rugby Gods for better weather this year – and it looks like they listened! It’s going to be a beautiful day with perfect weather for some 7s Rugby! We hope to see all of you and your friends there!

MANDATORY Release / Roster Forms

• Must be filled out in advance of first game, PRIOR TO PLAYING FIRST MATCH OF THEY DAY – NO EXCEPTIONS!
• Please use the roster which may be downloaded from HERE. One for each team entered. Roster limit twelve (12) per side entered. Under tournament rules players must stay with team they are rostered on throughout competition unless captain of opposing side consents in advance to roster amendment.
• Team score sheets can be downloaded HERE. These are great for keeping track of match scoring.

HRFC Men Advance to MAC D4 Championship Match

Congratulations to the Men’s Team for advancing to the MAC D4 Championship Match!

Harrisburg will take on White Horse RFC for the title on Saturday, April 25, 2015 in Phoenixville, PA.

Kick off is set for 1pm and travel time to the pitch is about an hour & a half.

The men’s team would appreciate all of the support that the club can give to them! The weather forecast looks good and the distance is not too far to travel. The match is at the White Horse RFC’s home pitch – because of this the club is asking you to bring yourself, your family, and your friends to cheer the HRFC Men to victory!
