For those of you that don’t know, Girls Rugby Pennsylvania started their season recently, led by our club’s own Alexis Morrison. This weekend they are hosting an HRFC appreciation day for club members helping to coach them, giving them field space, and introducing them to the wonderful world of rugby.
It would be great if we could get a large majority of our club out to support the girls during their games on Sunday. We need to show them that rugby can become a lifetime sport for them and encourage them to stick with it.
Games start at 2pm, and the girls will be taking team photos before the matches. They would like to take a large group photo with all teams and HRFC members. Please wear your HRFC apparel and get to Memorial Field before 2pm.
The club will be providing food and beverages for all. THIS IS A ZERO ALCOHOL EVENT – please leave your coolers at home.
